It is my duty to tell the Government that the people of Indi want no stone to be left unturned when it comes to measures that will assist with cost of living pressures.

The key themes of Dr Haines’ Indi Budget Submission reflect the widespread concerns of the electorate right now including increasing regional housing supply, providing cost-of-living relief and improving health outcomes. 

This is a rare opportunity that the Government must grab with both hands. Implementing the recommendations could be transformational for regional, rural and remote communities.

We need all levels of Government to come back to the table to ensure the best decisions are made in the best interests of the health of our communities.
