The Mansfield Station Precinct project has received another funding boost, with Federal Independent Member for Indi, Dr Helen Haines welcoming $6.4 million in federal funds for the project.
The latest announcement brings the total federal investment in the Mansfield Station Precinct to $14.1 million.
“Mansfield has received more than $15 million in funding in the last year alone for important local projects like the Lord’s Pavilion upgrades and the Mansfield Station Precinct,” Dr Haines said.
“I’ve been very proud to work with Mansfield Shire and the community to help them secure investment for these facilities that will benefit so many in the community.”
“The latest funding will enable works to plan the next step in this project, including upgrading the visitor facility, refurbish the Goods Shed, and rehabilitate the Mullum Wetlands.”
In November 2024, $7.7 million was announced for an all-abilities playground, accessible changing facilities and bicycle pump track.
This followed a commitment in May 2024 under the Growing Regions Program for $1.4 million to upgrade the Lord’s Pavilion.
